Show Abstract
This article aims to analyze the performance of the Educational Program of Resistance to Drugs and Violence - PROERD, based on the actions of prevention and awareness among the school units. Thus, the aim with this study to analyze its effectiveness as a political action of the Public Management. The study was conducted through a qualitative approach using data graphically represented, allowed to draw up a conclusive analysis on the objectives listed. Quantitative data were obtained through a questionnaire applied to pupils who attend the 9th year (eighth grade) schools in the State Network Orange South was found, by analyzing the collected data, the objectives proposed by PROERD come being achieved on prevention and resistance to drugs and violence, demonstrating that the program is an effective political action in public management with regard to social security.
