Show Abstract
This study aims to analyze the scientific production of postgraduate programs of Administration in ABC region. Considering the contents of the National Postgraduate Plan (PNPG 2011-2020), this investigation has tried to verify if the higher education institutions got the recommendations done by the official document. In order to achieve this objective, 2 doctoral thesis and 41 masters dissertations have been analyzed, published from 2011 to 2015. The institutions where the publications were found are: Centro Universitário da FEI (FEI), Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (UMESP) e Universidade Municipal de São Caetano do Sul (USCS). Assuming a qualitative approach, a “state of knowledge” study was conducted. Data have been gained from digital repository provided by the institutions mentioned above. Data analysis took in consideration two main issues of PNPG: third – evaluation in the Science and Technology System and its relation to industrial scenario; fourth – interdisciplinary as an aspect of postgraduate programs and other research topics (convergence and sharing). Results point that the scientific production take into consideration the aspects of the third issue of PNPG. Regarding to the fourth issue of the same document, there is only a halfway conquered in terms of interdisciplinary characteristics.
