Show Abstract
This paper presents the main worldwide trends about environmental concerns, and their influence upon decision making by the organizations. Which are the main reasons that determine the environmental concern? Are the decisions coherent with a real environmental attitude or are they reflecting only a marketing strategy? These are some of the questions that emerge when dealing with the organization's environment management decision making. The main factors to be analyzed to formulate a environmental policy are also presented. In a general approach, the main features in different decision making areas are presented, aiming to support the strategy adopted by the organization to face the environmental issue.
