Show Abstract
The study aims to propose procedures that allows the main thinking of the operationalization of innovation opened in PEBTs, companies that have specific characteristics distinguishing them from other small businesses. The concept of open innovation promotes a flow of inputs and outputs knowledge that tends to favor in the innovative process speed, as well as the exchange of knowledge between the market players. This innovative design characterised by incorporating innovation, internal and external sources. Open innovation has generated different reaserch, mainly as regards improvements that they entail for the large company, but specifically to the small, There are few discussions generated by the adoption of this conception. In order to work with a sample taken as a basis, the graduated in founding companies Parqtec, located in the city of São Carlos (SP), which belongs to the title of "Capital of technology". To reach the goal proposed was an exploratory search, in which interviews were held with the PEBT 's, and with entities that participate in the life of these Small technology-based companies (PEBT 's), besides a big company practitioner of open innovation. With this, the idea was to know the universe not only of PEBT 's, but also the open innovation, then being able to propose procedures for small businesses using it strategically.
