Resumo:
O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar um roteiro para a decisão e a
condução da pesquisa em ciências sociais. Procura contribuir para a
prática de três tipos de pesquisadores: a) os que ainda não fizeram
qualquer pesquisa; b) os que, tendo feito uma tese (em geral de
mestrado), devem conduzir pela primeira vez pesquisa autônoma; c) os que
possuem experiência, mas precisam de um texto para orientar novos
pesquisadores sob sua responsabilidade.
Resumo Inglês:
In view of the serious problem posed by the low level of productivity as concerns the research activity, due to the absence of criterion and experience in identifying significant issues, the authors decided to elaborate a strategy, for conducting research in the field of social sciences. They accordingly adopted a model for the practice of research, unfolded in two phases: a) decision on research, in which the relevance of the product and subject of research is emphasized; and b) conduction of research, when the contribution selected in the previous phase materializes. The authors call attention to the fact that in no way should the present work be seen as a "recipe" for the practice of research, but as a subsidy, since it is necessary to take into account the inherent needs of the problems being faced, for the study aims at opening new paths for better enquiries on the practice of research.
