O Conteúdo Gerado pelo Usuário (UGC) tais como comentários online de viagens escrito por viajantes, e publicado em comunidades virtuais, está sendo usado cada vez mais para comunicar informações relacionadas à viagens. O UGC está desta forma, ajudando os viajantes a tomarem decisões à respeito de suas viagens. Utilizando a Teoria do Comportamento Planejado (TPB), que é uma das teorias mais abrangentes em explicar a intenção comportamental, este estudo contribui para o desenvolvimento de teorias de comportamento do consumidor online, determinando quais são os fatores mais importantes em relação ao uso do UGC na indústria de viagens. A TPB tem três determinantes independentes de intenção comportamental: atitude em relação ao comportamento, norma subjetiva e controle do comportamento percebido. Sendo assim, o objetivo desse artigo é examinar os papéis de atitude em relação ao comportamento, norma subjetiva e controle do comportamento percebido quanto à intenção de viajantes em usar o UGC ao fazer planos de viagens.
