Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategies

Este trabalho apresenta os resultados de um estudo sobre a transformação de uma estratégia por meio de projetos. Foi construído um quadro teórico para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa a partir da exploração da literatura sobre teoria contingencial em gerenciamento de projetos. A metodologia de estudo de caso foi a alternativa encontrada para o desenvolvimento deste estudo. Seu objeto foi o projeto de criação do Parque da Juventude, no antigo complexo penitenciário Carandiru, na cidade de São Paulo, no Brasil. Como resultado, verificou-se a adoção de uma prática gerencial tradicional tendo como destaque as variáveis de alta intensidade e alta complexidade. Com isso, foi possível dar uma contribuição de ordem prática no entendimento da teoria sobre gerenciamento contingencial de projetos.
