Show Abstract
This study, after a considerable literature revision, approaches some of the topics that will help to understand the existence of different focuses in the entrepreneurship field of study. It also intends to identify an entrepreneurship definition that offers a possible consensus among the different existent perspectives in the field, once their advance not generated alone the emergence of diverse research lines, but also a width of definitions and interpretations about what is the entrepreneur and the entrepreneurship, even taking to some researchers to consider a challenge the simple definition of these terms. It’s common to find in the entrepreneurship literature, researchers that consider this field contradictory, attributing part from this to conceptualization questions. When approaching this problem, this study hopes to contribute to the theoretical development of the field, standing out the importance of the studies that approach fundamental conceptual aspects inside the entrepreneurship field, like the understanding of its disciplinary structure and even the own definition of the term " entrepreneurship". For the obtaining the mentioned objective the used method was a wide literature revision, using as database the Psycoinfo and diverse bibliographical sources. Among the main conclusions of this work highlights the identification of an element that characterizes the entrepreneurship concept, providing him an universality aspect and invariability, although this is approached from the most diverse perspectives and contexts.
