The electronic market, which is obtained by the intense application of information technology in the traditional market, is considered a reality which will bring benefits to those organizations which consider it on their strategies, and threaten those which do not use it. In this new environment, the electronic market, with its new and revolutionary applications, is considered as one of the biggest emergent trends with potential to contribute and to innovate business strategies and processes, on all industries. This article presents the concepts about electronic market and commerce, as well as the benefits and aspects of electronic commerce.
