This essay analyses the procedure of moral harassment in organizations and the role of the human resources management area, specially, in practices adopted for identifying and managing work circumstances factors which may propitiate the appearance of the moral harassment phenomenon. In order to accomplish this objective we have used a new point of view, since most researches show the view of harassed employees, of victims, and in this essay, we have tried to analyze managers’ perception of moral harassment in work environment and what is the best way for organizations to avoid this to happen. Since organizations are looking for a more ethical orientation and the improvement of work environment, the discussion of this subject has a huge significance. From this point of view, the analysis identified that employees feel safer in denouncing cases of moral harassment in enterprises with a clear policy about the subject, with appropriated communication channels, with a less hierarchical work structure, and with a respectful and trustful organizational climate.

The organizations are inserted in a competitive environment where continuous improvement of their products aids to keep or increase new businesses. In this process, it is relevant to hear the customer because it is him who decides if the product or service will be used or no, being then essential to know the attributes of the product that intensifies the level of customers’ satisfaction. This article has as objective to present the PRC – Penalty and Reward Contrast analysis – to identify the relevant attributes that influence consumer’s satisfaction. To illustrate the PRC method, the paper evaluated 16 attributes of supermarkets, with a sample of 290 respondents. The result of the research reveals that the PRC identifies the attributes that influence the general satisfaction, but it discards attributes that the consumers don’t have experience, among them, the innovations.

This article, a comparison of the structure of the Brazilian and German coffee chains, aims to clarify why Gerwmany is the a leading coffee exportes (mainly with regard to industrizalized items such as roasted beans and ground, instant and decaffeinated products) despite its not being a coffee producer comparable to Brazil. The theoretical base rests on the principal coordination frameworks, specifically supply chain management, netchain, networks and strictly coordinated subsystems. The methodology employed combines documental research and content analysis as proposed by Bardin (2000), which led to the creation of twelve criteria. Using these criteria facilitated the generation of a comparative analysis chart, presented when the data are analyzed and conclusions draw regarding the Brazilian and German coffee chains. The study concludes that the two major reasons underlying the success of Germany are the robust market strategies of its firms and the strong institucional guidelines governing their activities.

The dynamicity of the competitive environment can become a decision included in the operational plan unfeasible in the period between its approval in the strategic planning and the beginning of its implementation. By the other side, in order to profit by opportunities it may be need making a potentially worthwhile decision not contemplated in the operational plan. The aim of this study is to analyze how companies synchronize the strategic decision-making with the formal strategic planning. The methodology used was the multiple case study. Cases were caught from four agribusiness companies of the State of São Paulo. The analysis revealed that decisions programmed in the budgetary plan are revaluated and authorized by top management immediately before the first capital allocation. New decisions not included in the budgetary plan are authorized by reallocation or supplementation of budgets. In both cases, the authorization process is centralized and formal.

The aim of this article is to provide state-of-the-art didactic-pedagogical practices used in the entrepreneurship education of national and foreign under graduation and graduation courses and to prove or refute them through the practices adopted by a post-graduation course in Business Management of a university at Curitiba. Firstly, a historic description of the entrepreneurship education in the universities has been developed as well as its importance in the social economic development of the countries and in the generation of innovations, followed by an explanation of its current situation in the world and in Brazil. In a second stage was outlined the methodology, seeking analyze the main publications on the topic of entrepreneurship education. They were searched in all its contents of the publication, the annals: Enanpad and Egepe; and international periodics: Journal of Business Venturing and Education + Training. They were reviewed, although, publications of the authors of domestic and foreign most authoritative on the subject, as well as other important international journals that address the topic of entrepreneurial training, but not through a general review of publications. The main results show that: the universities are implementing the entrepreneurship education in their curricular grades using more efficient didactic-pedagogical practices, but not putting aside, in most of the times, the traditional methods of education; the professor therefore shall establish a balance between the roles of facilitating and teaching in the process of learning; the professors’ former experience and work in small companies will help the students in the process of learning and undertaking. However, it is important to mention, that the incubators are essential for the implementation of the business plans developed by the students.

Teaching profession challenges are huge and plentiful bringing pressure came from many sources. The aim of this study, exploratory and qualitative, is to raise the perspective of Marketing professors regarding the way they face their students at different levels: undergraduate and graduated students. The method of data collection was individual in-depth interviews and the method for works conduction and data analysis was the grounded theory. The study concludes that those who teach to all levels tend to prefer master/doctoral students followed by students of college level. At the same time, there is a negative reaction to the way professor evaluations are made and presented to students, although the practice itself is approved by the interviewees. Finally, grounded from interviewees’ reports, the implementation of Marketing philosophy and concepts into the classroom is suggested.

Professional profile and practical of teaching in the Administration Courses: for where they walk the new technologies of superior education?

Based on an inquiry with faculty members of business administration programs, the present research attempts to suggest the likely relations between the professional profile of the interviewees with their current lecturing practices, more specifically the teaching and evaluation technologies. These relationships were explored through a survey with circa two hundred faculty members. The paper begins with a brief overview of the business administration programs’ current situation in Brazil. Then, the profiles of faculty members are presented followed by their lecturing practices and the consequential implications of suchelements in the quality of business teaching. After these introductory explanations, the results of the survey and the analysis of the data is presented. With the help of descriptive statistics, a profiling of the specialists, masters and doctorates was made together with the description of the lecturing and evaluation practices. For the “test of proportion differences” the Chi-square test was performed. Finally, the paper concludes with final considerations based on the empirical findings, suggesting general guidelines regarding the quality of business administration teaching at college level.
