Show Abstract
This article describes the participation of Social Services Department workers of city of São Paulo in a public psychodrama with the street population, as well as its reflexes on the establishment of a people management policy, in respect to personnel qualification and formation actions. The strategy was to carry out ‘Intercession as a daily practice’, a course for 210 participants organized in groups distributed by region. They discussed issues such as their relationship with the city, the difference between ethics and moral, kinds of approaches to children, adolescents and adults, myths, fears, prejudice and surprises, violence, and the professional valorization of public and NGO workers in the social service area. The result was the establishment of the information and content needed for personnel qualification and development actions, as well as the adoption of development to support the change of organization culture, concepts and work practices.
