Show Abstract
This study points out the new theoretical and social aspects that involve Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) in companies' strategies, through a bibliometric study with pairing techniques, with data from the period between 1992 and 2019. The studies on CEOs are intrinsically linked to strategic decision-making. The results indicate the researchers’ concern with corporate governance, experience and learning, analysis of compensations and remunerations related to the contracts, in addition to the relevance of the CEOs’ profile. This study contributes to theory, suggesting the multidisciplinarity that involves the decision making and research model for similar studies.
