Abusive supervision (AS) expresses leadership actions recognized as hostile. This article addresses AS in organizational contexts based on a review of scientific production in the last twenty years. 67 theoretical-empirical studies were analyzed. We found eight specialized journals with publications since 2006, and 185 authors with research conducted in 83 countries. Tepper (2000) was de main reference indicated. Subordinates are the main source of data. The quantitative design was unanimous, presenting different data analysis techniques. Predominant theoretical and analytical models, more evident AS antecedents and consequences in the research are discussed.

This article aims to investigate the effect of pop-up stores. The methodology used in the work has a qualitative character and is known as Collective Subject Discourse Theory. Pop-up stores aim to fill the traditional gap left by the orthodox retail format. The retail effort for the consumers to have a real shopping experience includes in these stores the most current concepts in order to attract their attention, attract them, involve them and often invite them to participate in what is being produced at the moment. Finally, pop stores represent an experience that influences the desire of consumers and brand associations.

Multi-criteria decision making for business value creation has become a topic of significant interest that, however, has not yet been sufficiently studied. Companies find it difficult to determine the best decision criteria for creating value. Hierarchical Analytical Process is used as a method for establishing a business decision support model. The results highlight a greater contribution to the creation of business value of decisions based on the criterion of benefits and establish a ranking of priorities on IT decisions that lead to the creation of business value.

This article presents a tool to diagnose the degree of maturity of the internal supply logistics in the construction site (LAICO), based on the principles of lean construction. Construction activities are related to LAICO result in the dimensions of values and losses. In this multiple case study, the situation of LAICO practices was identified in eight companies in vertical construction in the Itajaí Valley, in Santa Catarina. As a result, the tool identified the LAICO maturity degree, through the application of lean practices. The theoretical contribution subsidizes the managers with lean practices, in search of continuous improvements in LAICO.

This study analyzes the practices of circular economy and sustainable innovations that were adopted by Native - the largest producer of organic cane in Brazil. A documentary analysis was carried out and supported by two in-depth interviews. The results suggest that: (i) Native is a reference in the adoption of circular economy practices in terms of production, processing, industrialization and in the adoption of clean energies; (ii) sustainable innovations corroborate the prospect of transforming the production chain into an organic and sustainable chain; (iii) the launch of its own green seal will contribute to legitimize the brand in the institutional environment.

This study investigated the relationship between organizational life cycle (OLC), strategic focus (SF) and operating performance (OP) of the MSE. For this, it was adopted a descriptive research with quantitative method and data were collected from 101 MSE. The findings indicate that there is a direct relation between the stages of birth, maturity, OLC rejuvenation and decline and external SF. There is a direct relation between the OLC rejuvenation phase and internal SF. OP is related to the growth and rejuvenation phases of OLC and relationship as the external SF, and does not, therefore, show this relation as the internal SF.

This paper reports results of a research whose objective was to verify to what extent different aspects of the relationship with the consumers with the communities of mark are related to the intentions and the behaviors. Data collection was performed with members of old car clubs. The data were analyzed through the Structural Equation Modeling technique. It has been found that community normative pressures and community identification end up positively influencing engagement and reactance. In addition, these last two constructs are also shown as predictors of loyalty intentions, to recommend, continue and participate in the community.

The objective of this research is to identify the conditions of the demand and factors in the exportation melting activity of the State of Rio Grande do Norte. For that, a multi-case study was developed, using the interview for data collection and ATLAS.ti 8.0 for the treatment process. As for the demand, it was verified that the clients impel the organizations to innovate in a fast pace, to produce products of quality and with greater added value. As for the factors, it was identified that the region has favorable natural resources; has a skilled workforce; as well as that the industry enjoys appropriate technology.

This paper seeks to analyze the relationship between organizational structure, represented by the Management Accounting Control Systems (MACS) and strategy, and to understand how MACS design fit the internationalization strategy and to what extent this affects MACS design. To answer this objective, a case study was carried-out in a service sector company. The findings suggest that in an I-Model internationalization process MACS should be used throughout the process in a differentiated way, allowing the information output to respond to all needs. These results contribute to the scarce knowledge on MACS and its strategy fit.

The goal of this work was to identify and analyze how the cooperative practices are interrelated in a network of small and medium enterprises, from the perspective of the Strategy as Practice. The case study was defined as the research method using data in a qualitative and quantitative approach, through questionnaires and a structured interview. The involvement of research and education institutions has shown relevance in the joint actions of product and process development and the training of human resources. Most of the agents (practitioners) effectively contribute to the realization of cooperative practices developed by the group of agents.
