Changes in the productive world have been accompanied by a new nature of career trajectories, characterized as multidirectional, with dynamicity and fluidity. If people once served organizations, dedicating entire lives to work, in the contemporary world the expectation is the reverse: organizations are expected to serve people in relationships whose duration can be easily reduced - which is a challenge to the institutions of work. The 21st century significantly demonstrates the use of knowledge which breaks paradigms by raising new organizational values. The knowledge society is established. Themes such as organizational learning (OL) and organizational innovation are essential in the current context of work. They represent the tools and perspectives that can imply in the permanence of the collaborators in the organization, and also, in collaborators contribution to the achievement of the organizational objectives. The new work environment is characterized by a social change resulting from globalization and the advancement of technologies and it is up to the management of knowledge to guide, maintain and promote spaces for the socialization of knowledge. The present study, based on a bibliometric review, tried to analyze how the themes innovation and OL relate to KM. The results point out that, although the KM is considered an important strategy in the enhancement of OL and innovation, it is still little emphasized, sometimes acting only at specific moments in organizational activities. There is a need for further studies to deepen the importance of KM related to OL and innovation.

Software has become essential for organizations and is considered to be a fundamental element for the competitive advantage of organizations. The pressure for continuous and quality software delivery is significant. Mainly, the integration between development and operation demands the use of an agile infrastructure. It is observed that the area of operation of IT has not been efficient in this sense. Innovative companies have used the practices of the DevOps movement, which proposes to deploy applications and infrastructure in a fast and controlled way. The objective of this work was the study of the influence that DevOps execution practices have on IT Management processes with reference to the IT governance model COBIT 5. The method is qualitative in nature, through documentary research and use of a face test with three COBIT experts. It was verified that the processes of knowledge management and configuration management are the processes most influenced by the five DevOps practices, object of the study, and that the practice of infrastructure as code is the one that most influences the selected processes. The choice of the COBIT model allowed an adherent analysis of the best practices of IT governance and management used by the corporations, as well as using an entire process structure that contains management practices in a very detailed manner. As a contribution is the indication, albeit preliminary, of the intensity of the influence of the DevOps practices on the processes of the COBIT framework.

The mobile phone industry has high participation in the Brazilian market, but at the same time, it is the target of constant criticism from users of the service. This article aims to present the results about the performance of mobile operators, rated by customers of pre-paid and post-paid services, in Belem, Pará. The research used the quantitative approach, and was of exploratory, descriptive, and e x - p o s t f a c t o character. Four hundred and five (405) questionnaires were applied to users of mobile services, selected in simple random probability sample and techniques used descriptive statistics and non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) to process the data. The results indicated that the post-paid group shows a slightly lower dissatisfaction with telephone services. However, in general both, customers of prepaid and postpaid modality, evaluate the services provided by mobile operators negatively.

The objective of this article is to present a proposal for restructuring the management system of the Program of Offers of Courses and Vacancies (POCV) for the admission of teachers, which is applied in all Campuses of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC), with a view to adopting a new platform, with an informational modeling and that is also more structured, functional and in line with its objectives. The methodology was of a qualitative approach, based on bibliographic and documentary sources, associated with participant observation. The theoretical and normative aspects inherent to the context where the object is inserted are presented so as to describe it, to dimension its functionalities, to identify its limitations and to map the adaptations necessary to the development of the POCV management system, with the structuring of the database (BD) in order to overcome the detected deficiencies. The study was conducted during the first and second semesters of 2016. This new modeling is presented to bring greater reliability of data and information security, integration to all campuses simultaneously and online, standardization of the access to the system, rationalization of the time for its operationalization, flexibility of use by the server responsible for the management of the plan, as well as facility of feeding by users on a friendly and self-explanatory platform. It is expected that the system can address the needs of the institution and overcome the limitations revealed in the current format.

This research aims to investigate the quality of life in the work place in the hospitality industry in the city of Foz do Iguaçu. Because it is located in a region of a triple border, the city of Foz do Iguaçu has its economy based and dependent on Tourism. For this reason this work is justified, as it is these hotels that are responsible for the satisfaction and the image that the tourist takes of the city. A quantitative survey was carried out where the data collection technique was a questionnaire for hotels of Superior and Luxury categories, according to the City Hall survey, accounting for 45 researched establishments. As a result, it can be observed that hotels implement Quality of Life actions at work, but, for the most part, they implement what is required by law, or actions that do not involve financial investments. The work was based on Walton's theory of QVT, analyzing what factors established in the theory are put into practice by hotel chains. In the analysis carried out, the factor of Social Integration in the Company was the one identified as the most implemented QVT actions. The Social Relevance of Work Life factor was identified as the item with fewer actions implemented by the hotels surveyed. In this sector there is a lot to be improved, several quality of life actions at work that should already have been adopted have not been implemented yet. This shows lack of awarenesss that an employee satisfied at his place of work, performs his work satisfactorily.

Keeping a high level of productivity amid the exorbitant amount of information we have today is not an easy task. The human difficulty to manage time and tasks, due to a poorly managed list of priorities is evident. To organize the mind and make it serene and free to create, David Allen developed the GTD (Getting Things Done) method. This worldwide known method becomes a great ally for deployment of a manageable workflow without many complications and stress. This study was based on bibliographical researches with a qualitative and descriptive approach, and has the purpose of describing the five stages of the GTD method elucidating the way to practice and apply the method itself. As a results, besides the theory of the method, two tools available in the market are presented. They enable the application of the method. As conclusion the characteristics of the computerized tools and the importance of the method for management of projects are presented.

This article aims to identify the competitive and cooperative specificities adopted by a small retailers’ network, who found in associations a way to keep competitive in the current market. Strategic alliances and associative networks have been seen as an alternative for small retailers to increase strategic policies against competitors and the arrival of big players in same market. The small retail network market studied in this article united in favor of same objectives to provide its participants with a greater market competitiveness, such as mix of products, growth possibility, logistics cost reduction, greater bargaining power with suppliers, new technologies insertion in company, strategy reformulation to guarantee the strengthening of the enterprise and the production of resources to be invested in its basic competences. The research was conducted in nine of the twelve companies associated to retailers’ network in four different cities. An important contribution of this study is that network of associations has brought significant gains for the survival of the associated companies as well as the strengthening of the network brand through strategic cooperation.

The objective of this research was to analyze the level of implementation and reach of the Knowledge Management practices of human resources in public schools of the city of Sarandi (PR). The research methodology, which is exploratory, is characterized as a multiple case study with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The questionnaire, developed by the Institute of Applied Economic Research, was applied as a research tool used to carry out the Knowledge Management diagnosis in schools. The main results, initially, through the calculation of Cronbach's are highly reliable. Then, it was observed that, on average, the effective implementation level of Human Resources Knowledge Management practices is medium and, on average, the effective level of reach is low. These results demonstrate the need to create measures to expand the implementation and reach of the Knowledge Management practices of human resources in the analyzed schools.

The procurement process in the Public Service presents peculiarities imposed by the current legislation. The trading floor has been the most widely used way of acquiring assets by federal educational institutions and requires trained personnel for its operation. In this way, the objective of this research is to elaborate a system for the selection of auctioneers based on competences for IFSC, Campus São José. According to its nature, the research is classified as applied, qualitative and descriptive and as to the means, it is a documentary research, field and participant, supported by a case study. For data collection, the semi-structured interview and participant observation were used. The content analysis method was used for data analysis. The identification of the duties of auctioneers according to the legislation, the activities carried out beyond their attributions, the indicators of competences translated into knowledge, skills and attitudes (CHA), allowed to group the skills necessary for the function. The most adequate training, the courses auctioneers must have, the difficulties faced in the function were obtained. The absence of any process, procedure or any criterion for selection was verified. Another relevant result was the consolidation of the competence matrix for the function, based on the information obtained from the managers working directly with auctioneers, and with the auctioneers themselves. As a last result, managers and auctioneers cited the definition of criteria and procedures for the designation of the server, thus contributing to the improvement of the selection process. In the the conclusion of the study, a proposal for a system for the selection of auctioneers based on competences is presented to IFSC, Campus São José.
