Show Abstract
This article is the result of empirical research on the Pedagogy of Alternation (PA). PA is a Social Technology (TS) well known in Brazil, which has helped to expand the field of education provision in regions far from major urban centers of the country. The main objective of this study was to analyze how the PA translate in Rondônia state is associated with the specific dynamics of involvement and participation of the various actors involved in these TS. Theoretical and methodologically adopted to Actor-Network Theory (ANT) and the concepts of Sociotechnical Adequacy (AST). He was accompanied, between the months of November 2012 to June 2013, the translate of PA between organizations and regions studied in the field, trying to identify the actors involved, their actions and how they have participated in the expansion of the PA. Interviews and participant observation were carried out. In the results, it was found that the State Government, actor it is proposed initially as the lead in the expansion and management of hearing loss, succeeds in defining the ways of this process, contributing, however, for redefinitions of actor’s networks involved and the new rearrangements occurred. Overall, the PA translate was a very specific process in the participating regions, contradicting government claims of standardization of TS. This configuration resulted from the socio-technical dynamics established between the actors involved, in which each sought to influence the definition of the PA’s goals, both in local terms as for the entire state.
