A partir de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, este artigo discute e analisa criticamente a produção acadêmica mais difundida sobre os fatores que influenciam o compartilhamento de conhecimento e as possíveis barreiras para quem busca e para quem disponibiliza conhecimento. Os resultados sugerem que o compartilhamento de conhecimento pode ser determinado tanto por fatores individuais e organizacionais, como por fatores tecnológicos. O estudo também identificou possíveis barreiras ao compartilhamento de conhecimento. Essas barreiras, tanto para quem busca conhecimento, como para quem disponibiliza, estão direcionadas aos custos associados ao ato de compartilhar.
