Abstract:
Different authors tried to carry out a critic analysis of the scientific publications in the diverse fields of business administration. However few of them  contemplated connected aspects, such as standards of productivity and cooperation between researchers. Contributing to studies in this level, in those and in others aspects, this article presents the general chart of the scientific output in the field of administration of information, through data raised in articles published in proceedings of the National Meeting of the ANPAD (ENANPAD), between the years of 2001 and 2006. In the 258 articles evaluated, were identified: (i) average of authors per article; (ii) most cited authors and their origin; (iii) proportion of empirical and theoretical papers; (iv) approach and strategy of research; and (v) productivity in the area through the Law of Lotka. It was verified that, the theoretical-empirical articles (79,4%), in their majority utilized qualitative approach, with the predominance of the case studies. Beyond that, there is concentration of output in the area, with three institutions been responsible for 32% of the publications, and with 70% of the output originated from institutions of only three States. It was also observed the cooperation increased between the researchers but this fact did not have relations with an increase in productivity, because the area presented a lower score than the one of the Law of Lotka.
